Having originally worked at Laurentian Bank from 1998 to 2005 looking after various operations-related sectors, Nathalie Généreux rejoined the organization in 2009 as Senior Vice-President, Operations and Expert Services. In that role, she is responsible for the Operations team, as well as for the Bank’s internal support centres that handle retail financial services and the settlement of securities, mutual funds and cheques via the Automated Clearing Settlement System. She is also responsible for the Performance and Organizational Development team that oversees quality assurance for the majority of systems, carries out efficiency projects using a "lean" approach, and that assigns project managers to meet the needs of users.

Ms. Généreux worked as a performance optimization consultant between 2005 and 2009 at GFI Solutions, serving as a process optimization project manager for the National Bank of Canada’s operations centres. She was also in charge of various sectors involved with mutual funds and pension plans at Desjardins from 1989 to 1998.

Nathalie holds an MBA in financial services from UQAM. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Human Resources Committee of the Canadian Payments Association, and she sits on the Canadian Bankers Association’s Senior Payments Committee.
